BIMbc Professional Training

Training Policies.

These policies apply to BIMbc professional training programs unless otherwise stated on a specific course page. By registering for a BIMbc training program, participants acknowledge and agree to the policies outlined below.

Registration and Payment

Registration is confirmed only after BIMbc has received payment or written confirmation of payment arrangements acceptable to BIMbc.

Course fees are payable according to the invoice issued by BIMbc.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that any required internal approvals, employer approvals, or funding approvals are obtained prior to registration.

Cancellation by Participant

Cancellations received fourteen (14) or more calendar days before the first scheduled course session are eligible for a full refund less a CAD $100 administrative fee.

Cancellations received between seven (7) and thirteen (13) calendar days before the first scheduled course session are eligible for a fifty percent (50%) refund.

Cancellations received fewer than seven (7) calendar days before the first scheduled course session are not eligible for a refund.

Once a course has commenced, no refunds will be issued.

Participant Substitutions

Participant substitutions are permitted at no additional cost provided BIMbc receives written notice prior to the start of the first course session.

The substitute participant must satisfy any course eligibility requirements that may apply.

Missed Sessions

No refunds, credits, partial refunds, or partial course fee adjustments will be provided for missed sessions, partial attendance, scheduling conflicts, travel disruptions, personal circumstances, employer related circumstances, or other participant related reasons.

Cancellation or Rescheduling by BIMbc

BIMbc reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, relocate, or modify a course when circumstances require.

If BIMbc cancels a course and does not offer an alternative date, participants will receive a full refund of fees paid.

If BIMbc reschedules a course, registered participants may either transfer their registration to the revised date or request a full refund.

BIMbc's liability shall be limited to the amount of course fees paid directly to BIMbc.

Policy

Funding and Employer Approval

Participants and their organizations are solely responsible for securing any employer approvals, funding approvals, grant approvals, reimbursement approvals, or other financial arrangements associated with participation.

The denial, withdrawal, delay, expiration, or modification of any funding program, grant program, employer reimbursement program, or internal approval process does not create an entitlement to a refund outside the cancellation provisions stated in these policies.

Limitation of Liability

BIMbc shall not be responsible for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising from participation in a training program.

Participants remain responsible for any travel, accommodation, salary, consulting, contracting, or other expenses incurred in connection with course attendance.
